Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is most famous as a film actress for her roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in the field of theater and film. Her first job was as a theatre actress and then went on to play in a variety of television shows, both mainstream and independent films. She gained acclaim as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with high praise but also a number of nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. The first time she was professionally acted as Ariel, in The Tempest. She has performed on Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film work, she's best known for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Also, she is well-known for her work on ABC's crime show High Incident.
