Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began in the second grade at age five. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. Winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was able to move in New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to take on a modeling job, signing up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year living in Milan, Paris and other cities. However, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe which led her to take up acting in Europe while she was there. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" that was a film with mixed reviews in the age of twenty.
